Education & Outreach
An important component of the National Marine Mammal Foundation's mission is to apply our discoveries about marine mammals to inspire creative thinking and a commitment to ocean conservation in future generations. To achieve this mission, the Foundation supports world-class marine mammal training internships and veterinary externships for the Navy. In addition to hosting college interns from around the country, our education efforts are expanding to include outreach opportunities in local schools and in the community.Internship Opportunities
