Dr. Jeanette Fuller Ridgway Scientific Writing Fund

Dr. Jeanette Fuller Ridgway earned her PhD from the University of California at Los Angeles. She was a devoted professor who truly enjoyed education and literature at every level, from her roots as a public school teacher in Texas, to graduate and undergraduate students at San Diego State University. The Dr. Jeanette Fuller Ridgway Scientific Writing Fund extends Jeanette’s legacy and passion for learning by supporting researchers, veterinarians, animal care experts, and educators in the completion of writings related to their work at the National Marine Mammal Foundation (NMMF). The awards will help to build on the NMMF’s goals of improving and protecting life for marine mammals, humans, and our shared oceans.

Contributions will allow the Dr. Jeanette Fuller Ridgway Scientific Writing Fund to support the ongoing development of literature that shares NMMF’s work with the scientific community and general public for years to come.
