Allison Reesh

Veterinary Technician

Allison has been working with animals since 2000. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Earth Systems Science and Policy with a concentration in Marine Ecology from California State University at Monterey Bay in 2003. During college, she began volunteering at a small marine mammal facility where she spent 7.5 years working as a marine mammal trainer for the SLEWTHS Project and Animal Training and Research International. In 2011, Allison became a licensed veterinary technician and has been working in the veterinary field in a variety of settings. She has worked in small animal general practice, emergency and critical care, educating future veterinary professionals, and now as a veterinary technician for the National Marine Mammal Foundation. When not at work, Allison enjoys spending time with her family, exploring, hiking, and spending time at the beach.
