Brenda has over 25 years of marine mammal experience and a Master’s in Nonprofit Management. She has led domestic and international marine mammal deployments for the U.S. Navy Marine Mammal Program, managing animal transports by air, land, and sea, and coordinating operations with military and government officials. She has organized logistics for over 15 organizations involved in wild bottlenose dolphin health assessments, served as deck manager of the animal evaluation vessel, and been integral in photo-identification and reproductive surveys. With 10 years of experience in grants and contracts management at the NMMF, Brenda oversees subcontracts, report compliance, and provides financial oversight for multi-million-dollar conservation and restoration projects.
