Danylo is a Community Outreach Specialist at the National Marine Mammal Foundation. In his role he teaches STEAM based educational workshops focusing on marine mammal education and conservation. Originally from South Orange, New Jersey Danylo started his career in Corporate Compliance and Sustainability before pursuing a career change to follow his passions. This led him to obtain a Master’s Degree in Biodiversity, WIldlife, & Ecosystem Health from the University of Edinburgh which he graduated from in June 2024. During his studies he worked as an educator at Ocean Discovery Institute in San Diego providing K-12 marine science education. In addition, Danylo also works at the San Diego Zoo as an educator and tour guide, including working as an interpreter at the panda habitats. In his free time, Danylo enjoys surfing, hiking, snorkeling, reading, and spending time with his wife and cat.
