Kayla Nease is a Research Assistant at the NMMF currently studying the psychoacoustic behavior of killer whales. She graduated with a degree in Marine Biology from the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology in 2021 and has since been a part of various research and training teams at the NMMF and Seaworld San Diego. She has used her time as both a Senior Killer Whale Trainer and Research Assistant to continue learning more about these amazing animals. She wants to continue her research and knowledge in hopes of promoting education and understanding of their wild counterparts.
