With 35 years as an active research scientist specializing in marine mammal psychoacoustics and biosonar, Patrick now works as a researcher with the Foundation.
Patrick is a former employee of the Navy Marine Mammal Program. Patrick is a Fellow of the Acoustical Society of America, Charter Member of the Society for Marine Mammalogy, member of the American Institute of Physics, and continues to serve on editorial boards of several professional journals. Patrick has co-edited a book on Animal echolocation, organized and conducted international meetings on marine mammals and echolocation, and written numerous book chapters and research articles. Patrick continues to support the Foundation in research and provides a critical role in hardware development and maintenance.
