Siena Merk

Siena became a research assistant at the National Marine Mammal Foundation after receiving her bachelor’s degree in Marine Ecology from University of San Diego in 2022. Currently, she is working on behavioral research with bottlenose dolphins, including hearing assessments using auditory evoked potentials and various echolocation studies. Outside of her projects, Siena enjoys learning about marine life and making stickers inspired by special moments with the Navy Marine Mammals.
