San Ysidro STEM Fair

Join us for an afternoon of hands-on STEM activities, demonstrations and performances from students and educators, opportunity drawings and giveaways, and so much more!

We will be hosting a table with science experiments and marine mammal trivia. Come visit our educators and learn about how to protect our local marine mammal friends!

ILACSD’s Creek to Bay Clean-up

Saturday, April 25, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Ocean Beach – Dog Beach, 5156 W Point Loma Blvd, San Diego, CA 92107

We are thrilled to celebrate Earth Week by participating in I Love A Clean San Diego’s 24th annual Creek to Bay cleanup! Join us in diverting litter and debris from Ocean Beach – Dog Beach.

With 100+ sites across the region, Creek to Bay is San Diego’s largest environmental cleanup effort in celebration of Earth week. Every gutter, street, park, canyon, and beach is located in or near one of the county’s 11 watersheds. Volunteers of all ages are invited to grab buckets and work gloves and participate.

Are you passionate about marine life, science, and exploration? The NMMF invites K-12 students, educators, and curious minds to join our engaging in-person and virtual workshops.

  • STEM Focus: Our workshops blend science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Delve into marine biology, marine mammal veterinary medicine, and environmental stewardship.
  • Affordability: Quality STEM education should be accessible to all. NMMF offers workshops at no cost to those who need it. For those who can contribute, a minimal fee supports our mission and helps sustain these transformative experiences. By contributing, you’re not only enriching your own learning experience but also enabling us to offer more workshops to those who need it most.
